Overview
This is a real-time image inspection product we developed for installation on S1000 soft-pack and H1000 hard-pack high-speed machines. Traditional pack appearance quality inspection relies entirely on the inspector's naked eye, and fatigue from prolonged observation and missed defects at high machine speeds are unavoidable.
With the rapid development of computer image processing, mature intelligent machine-vision systems now make a real solution possible: by photographing products in real time and digitizing the images, the system applies grayscale analysis, color analysis, blob analysis, text recognition, object finding, measurement and math tools, and code reading through pre-zoned, pre-classified software sensors for comparison or dimensional measurement. If the deviation exceeds the software's set range, the product is judged defective and a signal is output for the reject device to eject it.
The system integrates advanced technologies from optics, mechanics, pneumatics, electronics and automation control, and computer software. Machine-vision illumination is configured appropriately for each inspection method, using high-brightness LED tubes as the light source with PLC-controlled synchronized lighting. It reliably and accurately detects all kinds of quality defects at both ends of packs and effectively rejects defective packs.
Main Functions
Rated inspection speed is1,200 packs per minute and actual inspection speed is 1,000 packs per minute.
The system inspects finished packs for the following defects.
Presence, misalignment and misalignment-offset (wrong-seam) of the tear tape on finished packs
Reversed packs
