Overview
For brand development and competitiveness, cigarette manufacturers enforce strict quality control, and the presence and alignment of the soft-pack tear tape is a key quality indicator. Existing tear-tape detection products on the market, whether transmissive, photoelectric-sensor, capacitive or image-based, tend to falsely reject or fail to reject at high machine speeds, and are inconvenient to adjust, often failing to properly solve tear-tape quality problems.
Our soft-pack intelligent digital tear-tape inspection fully meets the strict quality demands of cigarette manufacturers. It accurately inspects and rejects online for all tear-tape types, including transparent, printed-pattern, printed-text, white, laser hot-stamped silver, gold and opaque tape, while allowing operators to observe tear-tape quality status during production at any time. Adjustment is extremely convenient: a single tap completes the setup. The product is in mature use on G.D X1/X2 and FOCKE packaging machines, fully resolving tear-tape quality problems in production.

Detection Targets and Accuracy
The system accurately detects the presence and misalignment of all new tear-tape types on CH soft packs, including transparent, white, laser hot-stamped silver, gold and opaque tape. It accurately detects colored splices inside OPP film rolls and splices of all colors when CH soft packs switch to new tape types.
Tape misalignment greater than2 mm for three consecutive packs triggers a stop signal. The reject rate is at least 99 percent with a false detection and reject rate of no more than 0.1 percent, and process splices are detected and rejected with counted shifting at a reject rate of 100 percent.
